چکیده
Abstract Reproductive tactics and strategies contribute to the persistence maintenance of long-term populations in fish species. Members subfamily Goodeinae are a group small-bodied freshwater with specialized reproduction (viviparity-matrotrophy). They found highlands central Mexico, most them endemic. The aim this study was conduct comprehensive investigation evaluate annual reproductive cycle seven species goodeines (splitfins). We carried out our subtropical Lake Zacapu, bi-monthly sampling from May 2019 March 2020. obtain fertility, size at first maturity (L50), sex ratio, gonadosomatic index. Our result shows that have high fertility compared other same aquatic systems also goodein. males mature smaller sizes than females, observed proportion females greater all goodeines. Zacapu two peaks, one spring (April June) another fall (September November). These (fertility rates, period) (viviparity-matrotrophy) favor success environmentally stable lake Mexico.

Reproductive Adaptations among Viviparous Fishes (cyprinodontiformes: Poeciliidae).
Within the family Poeciliidae, a wide range of adaptations accompanying viviparity has evolved. The reproductive mechanisms of five representative species were examined and related to the habitats in which they are employed. Poecilia reticulata, the guppy, represents the majority of poeciliids which have a single stage of embryos in the ovary at a time. Most of the nutrients are prepack-aged in...

Alburnoides manyasensis, sp. n., is described from the Koca Stream (Lake Manyas drainage, Marmara Sea basin) in Anatolia. It is distinguished from all species of Alburnoides in Turkey and adjacent regions, Alburnoides tzanevi (Rezovska [Rezve], Istranca and Terkos streams in the western Black Sea drainage), Alburnoides cf. smyrnae (Banaz Stream, a drainage of Büyük Menderes River, Aegean Sea ba...
متن کاملReproduction of the fish Poeciliopsis gracilis (Cyprinodontiformes: Poeciliidae) in Coatetelco, a tropical shallow lake in Mexico.
A reproductive analysis of 1225 specimens of Poeciliopsis gracilis obtained through monthly samples from Coatetelco, a tropical shallow lake in Central Mexico, was made. There was an evident sexual dimorphism, including a difference in body size at the onset of reproduction. Sex ratio deviated significantly from unity. Monthly variations in gonadosomatic (GSI), hepatosomatic (HSI) indexes and o...
